Rewarding your DCX Team Members: Everything you need to know about raises, rewards, & bonuses

At DCX, we believe recognizing great work is an important part of building engaged, long-term team members. We invest in the growth and success of our Team Members, and we’ve seen that when both DCX and our clients recognize strong performance, it can have a meaningful impact on employee satisfaction and retention.

How does DCX invest in Team Members?

DCX provides automatic, annual salary increases for eligible Team Members as part of our overall compensation and benefits program. We also invest in Team Members through benefits, incentives, employee programs, professional development, and other opportunities designed to support their growth and experience at DCX.

These investments are built into the monthly fee you already pay.

They are, however, separate from any additional recognition that you may choose to provide based on an individual Team Member’s performance, accomplishments, or growth within their role.

When should I consider rewarding my Team Member?

Every client and team is different, so there is no single, right approach. A good rule of thumb is to recognize your DCX Team Members similarly to how you would recognize employees on your team.

Clients commonly provide additional recognition for:

  • Exceptional performance or consistently strong work
  • Meeting goals or performance incentives
  • Completing an important project or milestone
  • Taking on additional responsibilities
  • Growth or advancement within a role
  • Birthdays and work anniversaries
  • Quarterly or year-end recognition

Recognition does not always have to be tied to a formal milestone. Sometimes acknowledging a Team Member in the moment for a job well done can be just as meaningful.

                How much should I give?

The right amount depends on the reason for the reward and what works for your organization.

For permanent salary increases tied to strong performance, growth, or additional responsibilities, we commonly see clients provide an additional $50–$200 USD per month.

Bonuses and gift cards can be a great option for one-time recognition, such as completing a project, reaching a goal, celebrating an anniversary, or recognizing exceptional work.

A little can go a long way. The goal is to make the recognition meaningful and appropriate for the accomplishment.

                What about promotions?

If you're promoting a team member - say, from Sales Assistant to Senior Sales Assistant - then it’s usual to increase their pay to reflect the new role. In these instances, it’s worth having a conversation with your Customer Success Manager (CSM) for advice and guidance on next steps.
