The standard, legal bereavement leave is 5 days in the Philippines. This leave is applicable to 1st degree family members only – Parents, Siblings, Spouse and children.
As for other close relatives - the standard legal bereavement leave is 3 days.
DCX provides compensation for these days and PTO is not deducted on the team member's record and is not billable to our clients.
Outside of immediate family members, PTO may be utilized by the employee.
In the instance in which a team member needs to take bereavement days, they should first report to their Team Lead who will share to the Customer Success Manager.
