Summary of the DCX Maternity Leave Policy
DCX adheres to the government-mandated maternity leave requirements in the Philippines and is committed to providing seamless support during periods of maternity leave. Below are the key details and options available to ensure minimal disruption to services:
Government-Mandated Maternity Leave
- 105 days: For normal or cesarean delivery (approximately 3.5 months)
- 120 days: For normal or cesarean delivery if the team member is a solo parent (4 months)
- 60 days: For miscarriage (2 months)
Support Options for Managing Workload During Maternity Leave
-
Refilling the Position
- DCX can initiate the recruitment process to find a qualified individual to temporarily fill the team member's role.
- A 2-week transition period is planned to onboard the replacement and familiarize them with responsibilities before the current team member begins their leave.
- This ensures continuous support with minimal disruption.
-
Leaving the Position Open
- You may choose to leave the role temporarily unfilled during maternity leave.
- Role responsibilities can be redistributed among existing team members to maintain service continuity.
- Billing will be paused by DCX's accounting team during the leave period and resumed upon the team member’s return.
DCX is committed to working closely with all clients to implement the most suitable option and ensure continuity in service during maternity leave periods.
